Carpet cleaning anywhere in County Kildare
Kildare is a big county with very different homes in it: commuter estates in the north-east towns, older terraces in the town centres, student lets in Maynooth, and bungalows and farmhouses across the countryside. We clean carpets in all of them with the same portable hot-water extraction machine we use in Dublin, which comes into the house with us and works on any floor.
We pre-spray spots and walkways with a product matched to the fibre, then flush hot water through the pile and vacuum it out again in the same pass. Expect the carpet to be dry within a few hours; open windows help, and air movers can shorten it further.
What we clean across the county:
- Fitted carpets in every room, plus stairs and landings
- Fabric sofas and armchairs (upholstery cleaning)
- Mattresses, cleaned in the bedroom (mattress cleaning)
- Rugs, checked for colour-fastness and cleaned in your home (rug cleaning)
- End-of-tenancy carpets for landlords, letting agents and tenants
Town by town
| Town | Homes and things worth knowing |
|---|---|
| Naas | The county town: estates on every side, older houses near the centre, and apartments. Easy access off the M7. |
| Newbridge | Large estates and town-centre terraces, close to the Curragh. |
| Kildare town | Estates and town houses, with homes out towards the Curragh and the countryside. |
| Celbridge | Estates and older houses around the village, near the M4. |
| Leixlip | Estates around the town, right next to Lucan and Adamstown across the county line. |
| Maynooth | Family estates and a lot of student lets close to the university. |
| Kilcock | A town on the Meath border, close to Maynooth, with estates and older houses. |
| Clane and Sallins | Estates and village homes just north of Naas. |
| Athy | Town houses, estates and rural homes in south Kildare. See carpet cleaning in Athy. |
If you're in Leixlip or Celbridge, the homes and the access are much the same as over the border, so our Lucan carpet cleaning page is worth a look as well. The video here was filmed on a carpet job in Athy.
Commuter homes, rentals and country houses
Estate houses. The familiar mix: a living room, a stairs and landing, three or four bedrooms and a sofa. The carpets fitted when the estates were built are often pale, and they show traffic lanes from the front door and down the hall. A clean lifts the grey; worn or flattened pile stays as it is.
Rentals. Naas, Newbridge and Maynooth all have plenty of rented homes, and carpets between tenants are a regular need. Changeover week, with the rooms empty, is ideal. Photos are enough for us to tell you which marks are likely to shift and which won't, such as scorch marks, bleach and old urine that has soaked into the underlay.
Country houses. Bigger rooms, long halls and a back door that sees a lot of boots and dogs. Dried mud usually comes out well. We bring everything we need except water and power, so we'll need a tap and a socket.

Upholstery, mattresses and rugs too
Anything else that needs doing can go on the same visit. Upholstery gets a smaller hand tool, but only once we've read the care label and made sure the colours hold. Mattresses get the same hand tool and a pre-treatment on marks. Rugs are cleaned on site, and if a rug is silk, viscose or valuable enough to need a specialist wash, we'll say so before starting.
Booking a visit in Kildare
Tell us your town or Eircode, what needs cleaning and send a photo of each room or item. Your quote is set by how many rooms and stairs there are, what else is on the list and how heavily soiled it all is, and it's fixed before we book. Visits run Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm.
Spotless is based in Dublin and covers Dublin and all of Leinster, Kildare included. The cleaning is led by Ciprian, the owner, who is fully trained in carpet cleaning after completing a Prochem course in 2018 (certificate no. 2018/020) and still turns up on jobs himself. If you need a clear-out as well, we also do house clearance in Kildare, and for the outside of the house there's power washing in Kildare. Further south, see carpet cleaning in Carlow, and for how we clean carpets in general, our Dublin carpet cleaning page.
