House clearance anywhere in Kildare
From commuter estates on the M4 to farmhouses outside Athy, we clear homes across the whole of County Kildare. It might be a parent's house after a death, a rental between tenants, a family home before a sale, or just an attic and garage that have been filling for thirty years. Whatever it is, the job runs the same way:
- A fixed price from photos. Agreed before we book, with no extras on the day.
- You decide what stays. Label it before we arrive, or stand with us and choose room by room.
- Nothing missed. We open every drawer, box, wardrobe and coat pocket, and hand you any papers, photos, cash or keys that turn up.
- The house protected. Covers on stair carpets, care with doors and walls, and heavy pieces taken apart where that's safer.
- Rooms left clear. Each floor given a sweep or a vacuum where it needs one, so the house is ready for an estate agent, a tenant or the family.
How Kildare homes shape the job
Kildare's housing ranges from older town-centre streets to big commuter estates and rural one-off houses, and each type changes how we plan:
| Home type | Where you'll find it | What it means for the clearance |
|---|---|---|
| Commuter estate semi-ds and detached houses | Leixlip, Maynooth, Celbridge, Naas, Newbridge | Easy driveway loading. Most of the volume is in the attic, garage and shed. |
| Older terraced and town houses | Around the centres of Naas, Newbridge, Athy, Kildare town | Street parking, narrow halls and steep stairs. We stage the load inside first. |
| Bungalows and farmhouses | The countryside right across the county | Several outbuildings, long lanes and more van loads. Photos of each building help. |
| Apartments and duplexes | Town centres and newer schemes | Lifts, stairs and management company rules, planned in advance. See apartment clearance. |
Common reasons for a Kildare clear-out
- After a bereavement. Clearing a parent's or relative's home is slow, careful work. Relatives set the pace, and the house can be done over several visits rather than all at once. See bereavement house clearance, and read our bereavement clearance guide for the practical side of probate and executors.
- Selling or letting. Estate agents want rooms empty for photos and viewings, and landlords need a property ready for the next tenant. See property clearance.
- Downsizing. Moving from a family home to somewhere smaller, and letting the rest go in one clearance.
- The attic, garage or shed. Decades of storage cleared out on their own, without touching the rest of the house. Our attic, garage and shed clearance pages explain each.
- A home that's got on top of someone. Discreet, non-judgemental help, cleared in stages if that's easier. See hoarder clearance.
North, mid and south: travel and timing
We think of Kildare in three parts. North Kildare, along the M4 and the Royal Canal, is the closest to Dublin. Mid Kildare follows the M7 through Naas, Newbridge and Kildare town. South Kildare, around Athy and the Barrow, runs on towards Carlow.
Whichever end of the county you're in, a price normally reaches you the day the photos do, and work can usually begin within the week. For a full house, we'll agree how many days to allow and what time the crew will arrive. Got a closing date, a lease running out or a handover booked? Put it in your first message and the schedule is built around it.

How a Kildare clearance is priced
There's no price list, because no two houses hold the same amount. We look at four things in your photos: how many van loads there are, how easy the carry is (stairs, lifts, a long walk to the van, a narrow gate), whether anything needs special disposal, and how long the job will take. Then we give you one fixed price. That's the figure you pay, and Google reviewers often mention that it held even when the job turned out bigger than expected.
For a quote, photograph each room, the attic, the garage, any sheds or outbuildings and anything very heavy, and send it on WhatsApp with your Eircode. Our guide to preparing a property for clearance has a simple checklist.

Where it all goes
Sorting happens in the driveway, not at some yard later. Decent furniture and usable household goods go to one side for reuse where that's possible. Scrap metal, white goods, electricals and flattened cardboard each go off to be recycled. Only the leftovers travel to licensed waste facilities, and as an authorised waste carrier (permit NWCPO-25-13287-01) we never dump anything you hand over. Read more in what happens to furniture after a house clearance.
