Three services across Kildare
Spotless works across the whole of County Kildare, and we do three things here:
- Clearance. Full houses, flats, attics, garages, sheds, offices and property clear-outs for landlords, executors and sellers.
- Carpet, upholstery and mattress cleaning. Hot-water extraction in homes, rentals, offices and shops.
- Power washing. Driveways, patios, paths, walls, decking and roofs.
Kildare is a big county with a lot of variety: commuter estates along the M4 and M7, old market towns, and farmland with one-off houses and outbuildings. This page is a guide to how we cover it, town by town, and where to find each service.
Clearance is our main service, and the other two often follow it. Once a house is empty, it's the natural time to clean the carpets and wash the driveway before a sale or a new tenancy, and doing it in that order means nothing gets marked or tracked back in.
North Kildare: Leixlip, Maynooth and Celbridge
The north of the county is commuter country, with the M4, the Royal Canal and the Maynooth railway line running through it. All three main towns share the W23 Eircode routing key.
- Leixlip sits on the Dublin border, next to Lucan. Mostly estate semi-ds with driveways, plus older houses near the village.
- Maynooth is the university town, so as well as family homes there are house shares and student lets that need clearing between leases.
- Celbridge on the Liffey, with big family estates built from the 1970s on, and the attics, garages and sheds that go with them.
Kilcock, Straffan and Clane are covered too, along with the countryside around them. Coming from Dublin, this is the quickest part of the county for us to reach, straight out the M4.
spotless.ieMid Kildare: Naas, Newbridge and the Curragh
The middle of the county follows the M7 and the railway south-west from Dublin.
- Naas is the county town (W91), with older terraces near the centre, large estates, apartments and one-off houses outside town. We clear family homes there and do property clear-outs for landlords, agents and executors.
- Newbridge (W12), on the Liffey beside the Curragh, has older streets near the centre and estates spreading out from them.
- Sallins, Johnstown, Kill, Kilcullen, Kildare town and Monasterevin are all part of the same patch.
Expect a mix here: terraces near the town centres where the van parks on the street, estates where it pulls into the driveway, and bungalows on the edges of town with long gardens and a shed or two at the end.
South Kildare: Athy and the Barrow
Athy (R14) sits on the River Barrow where the Grand Canal joins it, close to the Laois and Carlow borders. Around the town, there are farmhouses, bungalows and country homes with sheds and outhouses, as well as terraced and estate houses in Athy itself.
Country properties often have more than one building to clear, so photograph each one, along with the lane or gateway, and we'll bring the right size of van. From there we also cover Castledermot, Ballitore and Kilkea, and Carlow is just down the road.
Carpet and upholstery cleaning in Kildare
We clean carpets, rugs, sofas, armchairs and mattresses in homes, rentals and businesses across the county, using hot-water extraction and air movers to help them dry. It's especially useful at two points: just after a clearance, when the rooms are bare, and at the end of a tenancy.

Power washing in Kildare
Kildare driveways come in every surface, from block paving and cobble-lock in the estates to tarmac and concrete on country houses. We use hot-water pressure washing where the surface can take it and soft washing for render, cladding and walls.

Booking from anywhere in the county
Wherever you are in Kildare, the first step is the same. Send photos on WhatsApp or through the form: each room for a clearance, each carpet or sofa for cleaning, the whole driveway or patio for power washing. Add your Eircode so we can see where you are and how the van will get in.
You'll get a fixed price back, usually the same day. We can often fit a job in within a few days, and if there's a deadline (a sale closing, a new tenant moving in, a family gathering) tell us first and we'll plan back from it.
Whatever we take away is sorted on the job: reusable furniture and household items set aside where possible, metals, electricals and appliances recycled, and the rest taken to licensed facilities.
