Offices in Kildare's county town
Naas has more offices than its size suggests. As the county town, it draws solicitors, accountants, surveyors, insurance brokers and engineering firms, many of them close to the courthouse and the county council's offices. Add the business parks off the M7, and you get two distinct kinds of office clearance: the established practice in an older building in town, and the modern suite out on a business park.
Both end the same way, with an empty office handed back to the landlord. Getting there takes a different plan for each.
Practices on and around the Main Street
Many Naas practices work from period buildings and converted houses along the Main Street, the Sallins Road and the streets in between. They've often been in the same rooms for decades, and the clearance reflects that:
- Paper in volume. Deed boxes, lever-arch files, bound reports and reference books, often filling a back room or the top floor of the building.
- Heavy, older furniture. Large desks, glass-fronted bookcases and steel plan chests, which usually come apart or come down the stairs in pieces.
- Small rooms and one stairway. A carry from the second floor to the street, with parking on a busy main road.
The paper is where most of the work sits, and some of it isn't ours to touch until you've dealt with it. Anything confidential, such as client, staff or financial records, goes to a shredding company first. Check with your accountant or professional body what you're required to keep. Once that's done, we take the empty boxes, the general paper, the shelving and the cabinets.
The front of house usually goes too: waiting-room chairs, a magazine rack, a free-standing reception counter and the meeting-room table where clients signed their papers. If some of the practice's older files ended up in a self-storage unit along the way, we can clear that on the same job; see storage unit clearance.
Millennium Park and the M7 business parks
Out at Millennium Park and the other business parks near the M7 junctions, offices are easier to reach and easier to underestimate. A suite there may hold a whole team's desks, a boardroom, a canteen and a storeroom of old equipment. Loading is usually simple, with a car park or set-down area outside, but there may be a lift to book and a management company to keep informed.
For these, the main planning points are the lift, the time the building opens, and whether any furniture is staying with the landlord or the next tenant. Mark that clearly, and we'll leave it alone.

When a practice closes or merges
A lot of office clearances in Naas follow a change in the business rather than a simple move: a partner retiring, two firms combining, or a practice relocating to a smaller space. In each case, the old office has to be emptied before the lease ends, while the people involved are busy with everything else.
A sensible order:
- Decide what goes to the new office. Your removals firm moves that; we don't move furniture between premises.
- Deal with records and data. Shredding booked, drives wiped or removed, leased printers returned.
- Book the clearance for the last week. We take everything that's left and leave the rooms empty and swept.
- Walk round with the landlord. With the space clear, any inspection is quick.

Closing or moving an office in Naas? Send us photos of each room, the stairs or lift, and the parking outside, with your lease end date. We'll reply with a fixed price, usually the same day.
Getting to you, and what it costs
We're based in Dublin, and Naas is a short run down the N7 and M7, so we're usually on site early. On the Main Street, that early start matters: loading is far easier before the school run and the lunchtime traffic, and a practice upstairs can be half empty before most of the shops open. The fixed price depends on volume, the stairs or lift, dismantling, and how many electricals need recycling. Travel is included, and nothing is added on the day.
What we take is sorted on the way out. Reusable furniture is kept apart where possible; computers, printers, metal and cardboard are recycled; the rest goes to a licensed facility. Spotless is an authorised waste carrier (NWCPO-25-13287-01) and fully insured, which matters to the building managers and landlords who ask.
Once the rooms are empty, the carpets are easy to get at; see carpet cleaning in Naas. If you're also clearing a house or a rental in the town, see house clearance in Naas and property clear-outs in Naas. Offices elsewhere in the county are covered on our Newbridge and County Kildare pages, and the full service is explained on our office clearance page.
