Do you really come down to Wexford?
Yes. Wexford is part of our service area, which covers Dublin and all of Leinster, and it's one of the longer trips we make. We don't have a base in Wexford: the crew and van travel down the M11 from Dublin for each job. That's why every Wexford clearance is planned properly before the day, with photos first, a fixed price agreed, and a date booked that gives us time to finish without rushing.
What doesn't change with the distance is the way we work. Drawers, pockets and boxes are checked before anything is loaded, you keep whatever you want, stairs and floors are protected on the way out, and the rooms are swept when we leave. Every job is fully insured.
Gorey and the north of the county
Gorey is the first big town over the Wicklow border, and it has grown fast as a commuter base, with large estates on every side. Those houses usually have a driveway, a boarded attic and a garden shed, and after fifteen or twenty years many of them are full to the rafters.
Estate clear-outs here are often partial: the attic before a sale, the garage before an extension, or a bedroom after the last child moves out. Attic clearance and garage clear-outs are priced on their own, and if the shed is past saving, we can empty it and take it down; see shed clearance.
Holiday homes and coastal bungalows
The Wexford coast, from Courtown down past Curracloe to Rosslare, then round to Kilmore Quay and the Hook, has a great many holiday homes, chalets and family bungalows. Plenty are only used in summer. When one is sold, or passed on after a death, it usually needs a full clear-out, and the family is often in Dublin or further away.
A few points that help with a coastal job:
- Photograph every room and the outside, including the garden and any outbuildings.
- Tell us about access. Some homes are down narrow lanes, or in holiday developments with shared roads and tight entrances.
- List what stays with the sale, such as beds, white goods or garden furniture.
- Show us the garden. After a few seasons of light use, it's often overgrown, and we can clear the garden waste in the same visit.

Wexford town, Enniscorthy and New Ross
The three river towns each bring their own kind of job. Wexford town grew up along the quays of the Slaney estuary, and its old centre is a long, narrow Main Street with lanes running up from the water, lined with terraces and town houses and with very little parking. Enniscorthy, further up the Slaney, is built on the hills either side of the river, so some streets are steep. New Ross, on the Barrow in the south-west near the Kilkenny border, is reached across from Enniscorthy on the N30.
In all three, we stage everything inside, then load quickly so the van isn't blocking the street for long. Flats above shops, or in apartment blocks with management companies and lifts, are covered by our apartment clearance service.
Out in the countryside, the typical house is a farmhouse or a one-off bungalow with a garage and a few outbuildings. Inland, around Ferns, Bunclody and the foothills of the Blackstairs, the lanes get longer and the yards bigger, so the photos of each shed and store matter as much as the photos of the house. When a country home is cleared after a death, it's often while the estate is still going through probate. We work gently, and our bereavement clearance page explains how. If a relative's home has become hard to live in because of what's built up, our hoarder clearance team works at a pace that suits them.
Before we travel: a short checklist
Because it's a long drive, we want to arrive with the right crew and enough van space to finish in one go. When you ask for a price, send:
- Photos of every room, the attic, the garage, each shed and the garden.
- Your Eircode, plus a photo of the lane or street if access is tight.
- What's staying, whether it's a few pieces of furniture or a whole room.
- Any deadline, like a sale closing, a tenancy start or a family visit home.
- Anything hazardous, such as asbestos, chemicals, gas cylinders or drums of oil, which need a specialist.
- Who's letting us in, and when.

Planning a clearance in Wexford? WhatsApp photos of each room, the outbuildings and the garden, with your Eircode. We'll come back with a fixed price and the dates we can do.
Pricing and where everything goes
The price depends on four things: how many van loads there are, how long the carry is, whether anything needs special disposal (fridges, freezers, mattresses, electricals), and how long the crew will be on site. Larger Wexford jobs, like a farmhouse with a full yard, are scheduled over consecutive days. Our house clearance page lists what a full clearance includes.
As we load, reusable items are kept aside where possible, metals and electricals go for recycling, and the rest goes to licensed facilities. We carry it all under waste collection permit NWCPO-25-13287-01, as an authorised waste carrier.
We also offer carpet cleaning and power washing across Leinster, which is worth considering once a holiday home or family house is empty and going on the market. Check our areas covered page for the full list of counties.
