Small spaces, small teams
Most business premises in Greystones are small: a two-room office over a shop on Church Road, a physio's treatment room, a design studio in Charlesland, a consulting room near the harbour. The clear-outs match. Rarely a full floor, more often the one room that's become a dumping ground, or a refresh before new furniture arrives.
Small doesn't mean simple, though. With only a few rooms, there's nowhere to put things while you work, and every hour the room is out of action is an hour you're not seeing clients. Clinics and treatment rooms
Physiotherapists, dentists, therapists and GPs in Greystones tend to clear out when they upgrade equipment or rearrange rooms. We take the furniture and general items: waiting-room chairs, desks, filing cabinets, couches and old non-clinical equipment.
There are clear limits here, and it's better to know them now:
- No clinical waste. Sharps, dressings, anything contaminated and out-of-date medicines go through your clinical waste contractor, not us.
- Records are yours. Patient files go to a shredding company, and computers must be wiped or have their drives removed first. We don't do data destruction.
- Plumbed or fixed equipment stays until a technician has disconnected it.
With those dealt with, the rest is a straightforward carry to the van.
Studios and creative workspaces
Studios fill up differently. Photographers keep backdrops, stands and boxes of old props; designers hold on to plan chests, monitors and samples; small fitness and wellness studios end up with spare mats, benches and stacked chairs. A clear-out between seasons, or before a new layout, takes that away without touching the gear you still use.

Home offices around Greystones
Plenty of people in Greystones, Delgany and Kilcoole work from home at least part of the week, and home offices fill up quietly: a second monitor from the last upgrade, a desk that was replaced, boxes of files from a previous job, a printer nobody uses. A clear-out of one room is a small job for us, and it can go with anything else you'd like gone from the garage or the attic on the same visit.
The same rules apply as for a business: wipe or remove the drives in old laptops and PCs before we take them, and set aside any paperwork with personal details for shredding. Everything else, from the desk to the tangle of cables under it, can go.

Because the space is small, the clear-out is usually short: a room or two is often a couple of hours. We'll agree a slot that suits your diary, start at 8am if that helps, and evening or Saturday work can be arranged where the building needs it, if you'd rather not lose a working day. Where it goes, and the price
Chairs, desks and shelving in decent shape are held back for reuse where possible, the electricals and any metal go for recycling, and the remainder is taken to licensed facilities. We're an authorised waste carrier and fully insured on every job.
The fixed price depends on volume, stairs and the time needed, and there are no extras on the day.
